Heating with geothermal
Homeowners around the world have learned a geothermal system is the smarter way to reduce your carbon footprint and utility bills at the same time. Geothermal systems use the renewable energy found in your own back yard, and you can save up to 70% on heating, cooling, and hot water costs!
A geothermal system is more complex than a traditional system but offers far more benefits. Those benefits include greater energy savings, greater comfort, less noise, getting rid of any outdoor unit, and pre-heated water. Parrish is an experienced designer and installer of geothermal systems - our owner installed his first geothermal system almost 30 years ago! contact our geothermal sales team or call your local office number below to learn more.
Be comfortable, healthy, and energy efficient this winter!
There are several ways to help lower your bills while simultaneously increasing your comfort and improving your environment:
- Change your filter monthly. This will increase the efficiency of your system, improve its life expectancy, and reduce your energy consumption.
- Use a programmable thermostat to raise your home's temperature only when needed. This is a great way to reduce your heating bills.
- Install a humidifier to increase the comfort level of your current system. There is an additional benefit to humidification. Low humidity allows flu virus droplets to stay airborne longer and increase the likelihood someone will be infected. By keeping higher humidity, the air stays cleaner, and you can better protect yourself and your loved ones.
-
Install a UV lights or air cleaners to improve the quality of the air in your home. During cold and flu season, ensuring safe air quality is particularly important. For example, mechanical air filters can offer the following levels of protection:
